On World Emoji Day, Bumble reveals multiple interesting trends in emoji usage in India. Bumble also revealed an 89% increase in usage of emojis on Bumble bios globally since last year. Indians and sexting: · The devil-faced emoji (😈) has been used most on Bumble profile bios, followed by the flame emoji (🔥) in India. · Indians are using the donut emoji (🍩) almost 4 times more than the eggplant emoji (🍆) in their Bumble profile bios. Speaking on emoji trends observed on Bumble profile bios in India, Samarpita Samaddar, Communications Director, Bumble India shared, “Emojis are emerging as the new love language in India. Interestingly, we have also seen a steady rise in usage of the vaccine emoji this year since the beginning of wider rollout of vaccinations among the younger age group in India. From the classic red heart to heartbreak emojis – Bumble profile bios reveal that single Indians have been quite expressive and are open to using emojis, allowing them to express themselves more effectively when making meaningful connections. ”
